It has properties of high strength, good formability, great corrosion resistance, excellent weldability and bright appearance. Besides, Tinplate has good paint adhesion and the tin coating is nontoxic.
Tin Free Steel (TFS) is an electrolytic chrome plated steel consisting of a thin layer of chromium and a layer of chromium oxide deposited on the base plate. It is widely used for making beverage cans and 18-liter cans, while also used for making photographic film cases and as a protective material for optical fiber cables.
Hi-Pet Laminated steel is a composite material which uses melting method or adhesion method to put plastic film onto tinplate, tin free steel or aluminum steel. Using this material to make cans does not need the finishing and matting process, which greatly eliminates the emission of CO2 and realized zero release of waste water. This environmentally friendly material can also be applied to food cans and 18-liter cans.
