CGB / Roller Cutter Grinding Table

Off-Line cutter grinding unit, to sharpen single roller cutters. The Off-Line grinding version offers only positive aspects, such as:

• 1. Hygienics: zero slitter / strip / blank / can contamination with cobalt and wolfram carbide.
• 2. Efficiency: optimized slitter availability, as cutter exchange is much faster than the grinding process on the slitter.
• 3. Operators safety: Minimised rsisk of injuries, due to grinding one by one roller cutter, protected by safety guarding.
• 4. Grinding quality: Optimised regrinding quality, as the process happens without „production pressure“.
• 5. Lifetime increase of cutting unit (cutters and shafts) due to zero grind dust contamination.
• 6. Automatic grinding process: Operator just changing cutters. The grinding process is performed automatically according to the set parameters.

SQM2-Litho / Sheet Position Control

Detection of twisted and/or misregistered sheets during the coating process with 3 to 5 sensors. In combination with the SSS-Litho sheet rejection, faulty sheets are sorted out automatically without interrupting production (Qualimation). 

SQM / Blank Squareness Control

Detection of unsquare blanks during 2nd cut from strips into blanks. In combination with the Single Blank Ejection (SBR) or Scrap Separating System (SSS), faulty blanks are sorted out automatically without interrupting production (Qualimation).

Repair / Service / Overhaul

The MAWAG machines have achieved a certain age. To run them for many more years, a complete or partly overhaul / repair is probably needed. We therefore offer our service on place or in our machine shop.

BBM Basic

Simplified basic blank measuring table with excellent accuracy. Control of blank lenght, width and squareness. Solid and hardanodised alu base plate. 3 possible positions for the square control with dial indicator. Battery powered and portable system.

BBM 600 / 1000 / Blank Measuring Table

Control device with strong base construction in solid iron cast, with underlying measuring scale for controlling various blank formats. It is possible to check the blank length, height and angularity.

RCG / Roller Cutter Grinding

Roller Cutter Grinding apparatus for precise cutter sharpening on slitters. The construction is in two parts and therefore easy to mount. The lower part comprises the cast iron base frame and carriage, the upper part the grinding support. The device can be adapted to all current types of slitters.

DCS / Roller Cutter Setting

For fast and accurate positioning of the roller cutter on the upper shaft. The device can be adapted to all current slitters types.

SCC / Scrap (trim) Cutter

To cut the long trim of 1 st cutting operations on slitters into short trim pieces. No influence to the cutting accuracy of slitters. Clean cutting of trim between 2 solid carbide knives. Trim volume reduction of about 80%.

SBR / Single Blank Rejection

Single Blank Rejection station to separate unsquare blanks, as well as single blanks with print faults on. In combination with the Single Blank Ejection (SBR) or Scrap Separating System (SSS), faulty blanks are sorted out automatically without interrupting production (Qualimation).

SSS / Scrap Separating System

Scrap Separating System to seperate unsquare blanks from the further can production process. In combination with the Single Blank Ejection (SBR) or Scrap Separating System (SSS), faulty blanks are sorted out automatically without interrupting production (Qualimation).

Innocutter II / Presetted Cutter Pair

The Fast Ready cutting system is ideal for a fast format change. The system consists of the integration-kit with fitting- & guiding base and the preset cutting units with drive block and cutting head. Retrofitting is possible for most slitters.

Single Roller Cutter

Unique clamping system with FEM-calculated clamping force guarantees high-precision axial run of the cutting edge. By tightening the clamping screw, the knives are loosened, by loosening the clamping screw, the knives are clamped with a defined clamping force.

100 % quality with Quali-Mation

Quali-Mation stays for the combination of In-Line quality control devices SQM and LMC, with auto rejection station SSS or SBR. The combination can be installed on coil cutting lines, coating lines and on slitters. The benefit of this is a line with much higher efficiency.
