ASC Can Stock Lubricators are designed to condition and feed coil stock and control the feed loop into a cupper or shell press.
Models are available to handle bare or pre-lubricated steel or aluminum coil stock of varying widths of coil up to 74” (1879 mm) wide, and lineal sheet speeds of up to 150 feet per minute (46 meters per minute).

ASC offers rotating and non-rotating Coil Cars with capacities starting at 10,000# (4.5MT) up to 50,000# (18MT), ASC coil cars are designed to safely and effiently transfer and load coils as part of an integrated coil-handling system.
Rotating models are available with an independent rotating platen that allows the operator to ensure the coil wrap direction is properly oriented on the mandrel, and is predominately used in dual-uncoiler systems.

Non-rotating models are also available and are common with a single-uncoiler system.

ASC offers two styles of Off-Line Coil Upenders, in capacities from 10,000lb to 40,000lb.

Both models are designed to be semi-portable and for freestanding operation.

The rotating model will upend palletized coils 90° with simultaneous 180° base rotation to allow the forklift operator to load and unload coils from the same position for enhanced productivity.

 Gear-drive and Chain-drive models are available to suit your production requirements.
The non-rotating model will upend palletized coils 90°. The load and unload positions will be opposite from one another; this configuration is often preferable for crane unloading.

Both Upenders are available with any voltage and frequency, for worldwide service.

ASC offers a Material Control Stand for Cuppers with lubrication systems mounted on the press infeed, or for limited floor space applications.
The Material Control Stand features our proprietary auto-adjust infeed, which continually monitors the diminishing coil diameter.

The unit automatically extends for true “hands-off” control with no operator monitoring or manual adjustments required.

ASC offers two styles of hydraulic coil downenders, in capacities up to 50,000# (22.6MT). Both styles are designed to downend and transfer palletized "eye to the sky" coils to a coil car as part of an integrated coil handling system.
The Perpendicular Model is positioned at 90° to the coil car track and is equipped with lateral translation to support two Uncoiler in a multi-press front-end layout.

The In-Line Model is positioned at the end of the coil car track and is designed to feed a single uncoiler in a dedicated press layout.

ASC is proud to offer our latest revolutionary integrated Coil Handling solution for narrow Shell Press Systems. 

​A typical Coil Handling System includes a Downender, Coil Car, and Uncoiler.  ASC’s innovative integrated system eliminates the Coil Car completely.

​The combination of a Single Arm Uncoiler and Downender with hydraulic Lift reduces the footprint of the Coil Handling Equipment while maintaining high productivity. 

With our innovative, patented "S-Loop" feed system and installations in service worldwide, ASC Vertical Shell Press Uncoilers (Dereeler/Decoiler) are designed specifically for narrow-width shell press feed applications.

Standard weight capacities of 18,000 lbs (8 metric tonnes) minimize strip changes and maximize press uptime.

Shell stock up to 24” (610mm) wide can be safely and consistently transitioned from a vertical orientation to a horizontal orientation and fed into the shell press.  

Every ASC Vertical Shell Uncoiler is delivered with ASC’s cutting-edge laser loop control.  This proprietary control package measures coil diameter and, performing calculations based on press information, provides real-time accurate speed commands to the Vertical Shell Uncoiler turntable.

The system is continuously self-correcting, making minor corrections to the uncoiler speed to compensate for the decreasing coil diameter.  Trim loop position sensing is provided to monitor the loop height and correct for any small speed adjustment requirements.

 
VERTICAL TABSTOCK UNCOILER

With hundreds of units in service feeding Conversion Presses worldwide, ASC Vertical Tabstock Uncoiler (Dereeler/Decoiler) set the standard in the industry.
ASC's Vertical Tabstock Uncoiler are durable, electrically-controlled, self-contained machines designed for supporting and allowing payout of strip material stock from coils stacked vertically (eye-to-the-sky) upon the turntable. 

Capacities up to 25,000 lbs (11 metric tonnes) and stack heights up to 72" (1.8M) minimize strip changes and maximize press uptime.

The ASC LaserLoop system with SmartLoop control system offers precision loop control over the full range of coil diameters. 

Press reference speed monitoring and Uncoiler speed adjustments are handled by ASC’s SmartLoop technology - the industry’s first and most advanced intuitive, self-learning speed control system.
