The Fleetwood line of Conveyance Solutions offers can end manufacturing companies best-in-class products for handling their production line needs. Our systems start at the shell press, where we pioneered synchronizer technology to tackle end spacing challenges for stacking as industry speeds increased. We offer hundreds of trackwork and pusher configurations to seamlessly connect to all customer-selected equipment or adapt to limited plant space. Our conveyors have many available product sampling and camera inspection locations to address the testing needs of any customer. Liner conveyor options allow for all liner types, speeds, and compound formulations. We also have conversion solutions for both four-lane and six-lane press systems.
Fleetwood's Automatic Counter Baggers are complete solutions for can end manufacturer's packaging needs. Our ACBP accurately counts the ends, bags them with a high-quality fold and finish seal, and completed bags are palletized with snake wrap between each layer to create a pallet that is robust for repeated forklift handling. Once built, every pallet is consistently straight. The Fleetwood line of Automatic Counter Bagger Palletizers offers both 4-lane and 6-lane models to align with the latest conversion press capabilities. Ends are counted and separated into sticks with built in accumulation for increased efficiency. Sticks are loaded into paper bags that are folded then sealed with pre-applied hot melt glue.Bags can also be folded and held closed without glue until palletized for customers who manually unload bags for filling.
Fleetwood's Robotic Tray Systems (RTS) provide distribution and accumulation of shells to maximize line efficiency in the can end manufacturing process. Infeed and discharge rates, as well as the number of lanes, are balanced as needed by the robot. Removable trays are used store overproduction or as additional supply for underproduction based on the needs of upstream and downstream equipment. The RTS handles the highest line speeds and efficiency demands of the market.
BW Integrated Systems’ Robotic Bulk Palletizers are changing the way the industry thinks about traditional high-level, fixed automation. We’ve moved everything down to floor-level. Depending on the end-of-arm tooling utilized, these systems are capable of handling virtually any type of specialty, general purpose, or food containers made on your production line.
BW Integrated Systems’ Robotic Bulk Depalletizers are designed to depalletize multiple product sizes from numerous incoming product lines and deliver them to many distribution lines. Depending on the end-of-arm tooling used, the depalletizer has the capability of depalletizing empty or filled cans (aluminum or steel), plastic containers, or cases.
BW Integrated Systems' robotic and traditional bulk palletizing solutions can handle a wide variety of customer specified container sizes across multiple industries including beverage, container manufacturing and more.
Depending on the end-of-arm tooling, our robotic systems are capable of handling virtually any type of specialty, general purpose, or food containers made on our customer's production lines and designed specifically for high-speed can lines that require the use of multiple pallet sizes and layer size adjustments.
BW Integrated Systems is pleased to bring two of the oldest and most recognized brands in can and end manufacturing to MetPack. Established in 1956, Fleetwood Systems pioneered the feeding and handling of steel ends and was the supplier used in the development of ends for aluminum beer and beverage cans. We continue to be the market leader today, providing the most innovative, technically advanced conveying and automation for high-speed beverage finishing lines, with more installations worldwide than any other company in the industry.
Our forward-thinking approach allows us to constantly improve our ability to handle smaller diameters, lighter ends and more flexible lines. We offer our customers solutions considering technology, manpower and budgets. When you integrate Fleetwood equipment into your finishing line, you can be assured that you have the highest quality equipment, designed and built to give you the maximum production uptime that delivers the highest quality product to your customers.
Founded in 1971, Goldco quickly broke away from the pack and became the world's number one choice for end-of-line palletizing of empty cans. An innovative team of engineers developed a number of industry firsts, from a space-saving reverse unloading machine, the first and still only top-loading pallet feed machine, to the first fully automated palletizer. Today, we're proud to build on that legacy by leveraging our experience as one of the world's largest packaging robot integrators. Complementing our high-speed beverage can technology, our floor-level robotic solutions are well suited for palletizing round and non-round containers for food and general industry.
Fleetwood and Goldco product lines of end hauling, accumulation, depalletizing, palletizing and related equipment are manufactured in the US and UK with field service technicians located worldwide. BW Integrated Systems, operated by Fleetwood and Goldco Brands, is a company you can count on.
